November is in full swing and it's time for me to give a huge thank you to all of my wonderful mini session clients! 2017 has been a big year of growth for me and I'm happy to say that I'm booking more sessions than ever. I am so grateful for all of your support, 2018 is going to be a great year for Urban Shutter and I'm excited to share my adventure with you guys! Now, let's get back to those mini sessions. For the past few months I've been incorporating more natural, silly, and romantic prompts and games in my posing directions, it's really helped loosen up my camera shy clients. This round of mini sessions is where I REALLY noticed a difference. I had a lot of toddlers this fall, and we all know how toddlers can be when there's a stranger with a camera around! By letting the kids run and play, I was able to make a better connection with them, which led to more relaxed smiles and poses. I also focused on the interactions between the parents and their children, whether it was cuddling a cranky baby or catching them at the bottom of the slide at the playground. I didn't want the uncomfortable, perfectly posed, toothy grins anymore. I want to capture memories being made, the goofy faces, the temper tantrums, all of it! I am so proud of every single gallery I delivered this season, I cannot wait for in-home holiday sessions! Categories
